Nova Cronum is a philosophical haven and home to many theoretical research facilities. It borders Iacon and Polyhex[1] and might be the region housing the Thunderhead Pass. Unfortunately, the Autobots and the Decepticons have a tendency to blow it up. Thus, it longs for the day when all are one.

Nova Cronum was purged by the Decepticons in ano-cycle 6-1-1, Devastation 500.000 years after the start of the war, （Transformers: The Ultimate Guide） rendering it a ghost state. During the Border Wars, Shockwave used it as the location to build a new upgraded type of mobile base. Prowl and several of his soldiers went out to investigate the matter, coincidentally getting into a fight with the Decepticons' latest recruit. （Devastation） The battle did not quite proceed in the Autobots' favor, not even when two batches of reinforcements came to help. Fortunately for them, Shockwave needed Trypticon's assistance immediately in the Neutral Territories, who cut off the fight to respond to the order. （Revelation）
Roughly 2.5 million years later, （Transformers: The Ultimate Guide） Nova Cronum, as war reclamation zone, was mostly rebuilt. A small team under command of Nightbeat went there in order to capture one of the Aerospace Extermination Squadron functioning for study.
